Q: Does anyone know if this does have 4K passthrough? Has anyone connected an Xbox one X to and still gotten 4K resolution on there TV or the 4K HDR test on the console to show all check marks?

A: Yes, it does have 4K pass through and I have connected my Xbox x to it and got all the check marks. You need to change the HDMI to enhanced by pressing BD/DVD and the power button at the same time. Do this on the receiver.

Q: Did this come with speaker wire in the box? Onkyo manual shows it comes with 2-26’ lines and 4- shorter ones. But folks in BB said they didn’t know if it did.

A: Yes mine came with speaker wire although for the surround ones it is not very long so I would have some spare to hand.

Q: are these speakers indavidualy adjustable?

A: Yes they are.They are easily adjustable in settings. You can also call customer service and they will walk you through the process.

Q: I'm going to use universal floor speaker stands not wall mount so should I get the kind that connect to the bottom or the back of the speakers

A: You can only use Atmos in a 3.1.2 configuration and for me personally I could never get Netflix, Amazon Prime nor any of my Blu-Ray movies to output Atmos at all. If you want REAL Dolby Atmos I'd avoid buying the system and at least get a 5.1.2 or a 7.1 that support true 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos. Buying Dolby Atmos speakers isn't likely to improve your sound if the Atmos you're getting is already limited to 3.1.2.

Nice basic surround system
We got this to replace an old HTIB system that was struggling with some of the new audio on our streaming services. I didn’t want to spend a ton, but wanted something more than a sound bar to replace the inadequate TV speakers. This system isn’t going to blow the walls off, and we do have to turn it up to like 60 to fill the room, but it provides a very satisfying sound upgrade. It was easy to set up (we already had wiring for the rear speakers). It sounds very good and has plenty of inputs if we ever want to hook up game systems or a disc player. ARC works well with our TCL Roku TV so we only need one remote which is very convenient! We briefly tested the Bluetooth with our iPhones and had no problems at all. My only complaint is how tall the receiver is (I guess they all are though). It wouldn’t fit where we had the old receiver/DVD player combo unit so we had to rearrange everything which was a pain.

Old School, No Problem
Nothing negative to report except possibly the size of the receiver. Easy to set up and use. As this is my first 5.1 I cannot compare, but I am very happy with the sound quality*. Note that wiring to the satellite speakers is included, a nice perk. *Forgot what the movie was, but a dog unexpectedly barked in a scene... it sounded like it was about a foot from my right ear. I inadvertently jumped and looked over.
