Q: Can it be used on wall to wall carpet?
A: Yes we use in the living room in the evening.
Q: Does the heater get hot to touch on the outside of the unit?
A: No it does not get hot on the outside not even in the back where there is some metal. Where you can see the elements for heat in the front, probably would be hot when it’s on but I have never touched it. All and all it is a safe product.
