Q: Will this fit the new ipad due out April 4 2017?
A: This case will fit the iPad but you cannot adjust the volume, which the volume a little bit higher up. Apple remove the mute control so this case will only allow you adjust the volume down. But if you need to adjust the volume up, you'll have to open the little tab. Otherwise you will have to swipe up and left to adjust the volume.
Q: Does it have a screen protector? If so, what material is it?
A: Yes. Not sure if the material exactly. Some kind of plastic.

Q: Will this case work with the current (5th geration) 13” MacBook Air?
A: I don’t think so, it’s for a 9.7 display the one I bought said iPad Air 2 which is what I have so I knew it would work for me! Good luck finding the one you may need I’m sure they make one for your MacBook.
A: No. 9.1 just sits in it can not close case. Had to go back & get next size up. Also price compared. Big difference by $50
Q: Will the case fit just a plain Ipad?
A: Nope, volume buttons don't line up.
A: Yes... that is what I have.
