Just okay.
As far as protection goes, I'd say it average, to slightly above average. I like the asthetics of the case as well as its slim design. However, what I don't like is how difficult it is to get the phone in and out of the case. It seems like you have to put so much force getting it in and out that it feels like you a literally going to break the phone. I also don't like the material that otterbox uses on most of their cases (this one included) because pulling in and out of pockets, especially jeans, causes ink from clothing to be pulled into the rubber permanently staining the color of the case. I suppose if you get a dark or even black you wouldn't have to worry about staining it. Mine was orange and it lasted about a week or two before I started seeing it fade from a bright orange to a dark orange (almost purple hue). I did drop the case once from a height of about 2 feet onto a tile floor and it fractured the bottom corner of the case. For the price, I'd say I definitely overpaid for the product!

Great alternative to the defender case.
When i was working construction I had an otterbox defender case. that this was a tank protecting my phone so when i was needing a new case for my iphone 6 plus I knew i wanted to have an otterbox but didnt need the extra protection from the defender case. This case is not bulky or heavy and fits comfortably in my hand. the sides are cushy and its protective. The stylish clear backing is a nice touch too.

Great but one issue
This case is VERY nice but a little pricey. My only complaint so far is the fact that the red rubber is starting to turn dark (I'm guessing from being in my pocket) on the edges after less than a week and it WILL NOT come off. If the rubber were black it would not be noticeable but I wanted the red to go with gold iPhone to give a different look.
