Very Good for a "B" grade Sci-fi flick
I saw this years ago and picked it up on Blu-Ray in the bargain bin. I wasn't disappointed to revisit such an interesting take on the Sci-fi Beowulf "genre". Yes, there is more than on film that fits this category.
Jim Caviezel, Sophia Myles, John Hurt, Ron Perlman. Other cast also did a good job.
The story is decent. The CG is fine and even good much of the time. The performances are, as expected, what sell this gem of a movie.
The blu-ray transfer is good as well. Buy it. You will want to see it more than once.
Movie of a human-like alien Space movie, comes to Earth tracking a dangerous space creature that killed his family. He has to fight the odds, being in old Viking times without a weapon that can kill the creature! The space alien is a favorite actor Jim Caviezel.
