Amazing 3D and a decent movie!
I just watched the 3D Blu-rays for both Pacific Rim films a couple of days ago, and it was my first time watching them in 3D. Surprisingly the first film's 3D seemed to be better and more immersive, but the 3D in Uprising was also very impressive!
I am definitely glad I bought the movie on 3D Blu-ray, as I did enjoy it quite a bit, especially in 3D! I still think the first film was better in pretty much every way, but the sequel is a must own for any fan of the original in my opinion!

Demo Material
While the movie is not anything special over original, in fact its a few notches below. It is notable in its presentation as a demo piece. Audio and 4K transfer are main selling points and are reference quality. 3D, my main reason for purchasing was decent but stood out more in fight scenes, definately better in original there. Lastly, B.B exclusive avilailability only downside as they have become the only domestic retailer to offer 3D option on some movies at times. And getting a B.B exclusive copy is hit or miss depending on how fast you are to pickup.
bad kaiju are bad ,, wants to destroy the earth ,, but the good jaegers wins again and even beats the kaiju fake jaeger too ... and finishes off the cat 5 kaijuu ,,,see my photo of the big bad kaijuu cat 5 ... great movie with new storyline from the first pacRim .. not like repeat startrek and starwar repeating plot with same ole story over and over .
