This is my second Panasonic HD TV.
||Posted .Very easy set up. Nice picture. Lightweight. I trust the name Panasonic from my digital camera, DVD/VCR player and 2 TV's.

Nice TV for the price
Posted .This TV does everything a $199 TV should do. Good picture and sound, easy setup. Good TV for a bedroom. My only issue with the TV is the stand. I bought the TV partially as I liked the stylish stand. Turns out the photos are wrong. The stand on this TV is just the everyday center mounted stand. I called the store and asked them to check their stock and they said they are all that way. It appears there is a 39 inch model of this TV that does have the stand shown but not the 32. See photo for actual stand on this TV. Still a very good TV for price.

Great secondary tv.
||Posted .I got this tv to put upstairs for the kids. I have connected an Apple TV to it and a DVD player through component video. The tv has a nice picture considering its price. I have two other Panasonic TVs, a 42" 720P Plasma and a 50" 1080P Plasma, both of which have a much better picture than this set but they were both way more expensive too. I stuck with the Panasonic name because they have all been very reliable so far (knock on wood)... Back to my review. Picture quality is really the most important issue with tv's and this one is very nice for its price. The Apple TV content looks great. Cable HD tv channels look great too and even the DVD player connected through component video (480p) looks very good. I do notice some pixelization and contrast is not as good as my plasmas, but overall as a secondary tv, this set is perfect and delivers great bang for the buck. That's why I gave it a rating of excellent. It was easy to set up and use and even found some channels that I can't get on my other tvs when I did the auto scan for channels (I don't have a converter box with my cable package. I just have the basic, basic cable, so my tv tuner finds the channels). The remote is of very good quality too. If you are looking for a 32" tv with a decent picture for cheap, I think this is the best one in its price range and you will not be dissapointed. If you are looking for a great picture for gaming, this is probably not the set for you... I also recommend going to Best Buy and checking it out in the store like I did. That really helped me to make my decision. I looked at a lot of tvs before making my purchase because I really wanted another plasma for better picture quality, but there are very few left and certainly no smaller ones anywhere near this price range anymore... Funny to me that I consider 32" a smaller tv these days...... I remember when my dad got a 25" Zenith console tv for the family room and we thought it was huge!

Good value
||Posted .I was looking for a TV for the bedroom. This TV meet my needs. I have it set up with DVD (HDMI), Digital Cable box (HDMI), RoKu (Composite), Digital Antenna. One of the items I was looking for is that the USB slot has enough space to allow the use of a SD to USB card reader, in some other models there was not enough room due to other inputs. The TV has a 3 hour no activity timer that performs shut down after I fall asleep. It also has a sleep timer function but it is limited to 90 minutes, since most movies on TV last 2 hours of broadcast time I do not use the sleep timer. This TV has no WiFi, I use the WiFi of the individual attached input devices. I am using my cable remote as the control for my devices so I can not review the unit's remote control. I like the Digital Receiver function (as a fallback) since I have been without cable for several weeks after a hurricane.

Overall good quality & price
||Posted .I do not have cable etc. so I use the rabbit ears from my previous TV. This unit does not have rabbit ears as part of the package. Picture quality is great, sound could be somewhat better. Perhaps this is due to my hearing or even the fact I use rabbit ears. I can now get two more channels than I could with my previous TV. Takes some playing with the rabbit ears but does the job. Easy to program and the remote is much better than my previous TV. As you can tell I am not an avid TV watcher. Mostly sporting events and the local news.

Outstanding television for the price
||Posted .I've been slow to get on the flat-screen bandwagon, but at last my kids shamed me into joining the 21st century, and I am so glad I did. The screen is big enough to see easily, including all the little writing like when they show a text message on someone's phone!!! The sound quality is wonderful, the picture quality also is wonderful, and the set-up was truly simple. I just followed the directions and it was hooked up and ready to watch! Even the remote was easy to program. I am very satisfied. Also, I really like Best Buy's service: the salesman was congenial and helpful.

Best bang for buck small tv
||Posted .This tv is being used in my bedroom. If 32" tv is what you are looking for, buy this. We had a sharp for 3 days and were not impressed and returned for this tv. Best picture, easy setup, perfect features fro my taste. I have seen much more expensive 32"tv that have things like 1080p and smart, but this picture quality is just as good if not better. Hell nothing on cable or satellite is broadcast in 1080p anyway.

only one complaint
||Posted .This is a very good basic TV. No complaints about the sound or picture. You may need to go into the adjustment menu's to get the picture you like, but there are a quite a few controls available.. Unfortunately, you will need to feel your way along because the owner's manual is not very detailed. My only complaint is that the only audio output jack is a digital audio output. Not many speakers or accessories have this kind of plug. Makes adding external speakers or headphones difficult. If this shortcoming is not important to you, and you have some inherent skills in navigating the set up and option menus on a TV, I would highly recommend this one. Of course, there may be some better 32" TV's out there, but not at this price.

Q: Questionwhat is difference betwen 720p and 1080 ratio
Asked by rosie.
- A:Answer Simply put, lines of resolution. Think of an iPhone screen.... 720 would be like a standard screen, 1080 would be like a retina display. a higher density of pixels so essentially you could sit closer without starting to see the individual pixels. Not a major issue on smaller screens like this though, but as the screen gets larger and more area to cover then it can make a difference.

Q: QuestionCan my old CD/VCR player be used with this TV?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Probably yes. This TV has a set of component (RCA) plugs on the back, so you should be able to hook up an older VCR to it. Not sure how it will look, or if you need to make any setting changes though. Hope this helps.
