Q: what does 60x zoom equal to in a zoom lens? 180mm, 210mmor300mm? What is it comprable to?
A: This camera has a remarkable telephoto. I think the specs on the plastic lens says 1200mm but I am not sure. My own skills dictate that might be a little bit much. I would not want to try extending it that far. Stay within whatever safe zone works for you. The trick here is the higher the zoom, you have to be careful of the depth of field. That means your Fstop has to stay high. On the older Nikons it was F22 or F16 len settings. That also affects your exposure and I think the max on that lenses is F5. plus. So if you are using the telephoto past about 150 mm the focus might get a little bit tricky.
A: Hello! The unit has a tripod mount. Please do not attach this unit to tripods that have screws with a length of 5.5 mm (0.22 inch) or more to avoid any potential instability or damage. -C

This camera is great for beginners. Someone like me who never had a “professional” camera before, I was able to navigate the screen pretty easily. The zoom was incredible! I took pictures for my boyfriend’s graduation and I think for a beginner they came out very nice. Since I was new to this, I didn’t know what the ISO meant, so the pictures I attached are very grainy in some, and have different lighting. I did my research online and now I have a better understanding of the camera. It’s great for well lit areas, but if you know how to use the settings it just right, and maybe edit the photos (i don’t just yet) your photos will come out looking professional!!

I purchased this camera back in May of this year then returned it shortly afterwards because it isn’t WiFi enabled. However, I really enjoyed everything else about this camera, so I’ve repurchased it. The battery life is good and the extended zoom is very nice.

Honestly love this. Not big into photography or anything, but it has great zoom and takes decent pictures for the price.
