A: As long as the phone is sitting in it's holder it does not glow. Once the phone is removed from it's holder, the screen and the buttons do light up.
A: These phones do have a feature to manually turn off the ringer. All you need to do is hold down the "0" button (has a small bell beside the "0") for two seconds and it will display a bell with a slash through it. This indicates that the phone has been placed in silent mode. Press and hold the same key for two seconds again, and it will take it out of silent mode. You can also manually scroll into the settings menu on the phone and change it there as well.

A: Pressing Redial (right-arrow on the top center button) shows you the number you dialed most recently. Next, pressing the up or down arrow will cycle through the other dialed numbers in memory, in forward or reverse chronological order.
