Works as advertised. Placed in middle of living room, about 8 ft off the ground. Set motion sensitivity to highest setting. Device picks up slight to moderate motion and activates room lighting in under 2 seconds. Battery life has been good. Should last approximately six months without needing to change the internal battery. Little expensive compared to similar hardware from other vendors.

One of the best accessories for the Hue ecosystem. If you are into having smart home devices, consider this for something like your kitchen setup. I added this to ours that has a few light bars on top of our kitchen cabinets. With good placement and preferred lighting color and brightness, you’ll have a motion sensor that will gently illuminate your space for those late night trips to the kitchen.

A:Hello, I have not used two motion sensors to activate one light. Yes you cad adjust sensitivity and light sensitivity to turn in only if it’s dark. Hope this helps. ~ Joey
A:It all depends how you set it up. I have one in many closets and rooms, and they control just the hue lights in those rooms. But during Christmas time, since I wrap my banisters with lights connected to a smart plug, I have my living room motion detector and my basement motion detector trigger both trigger the Christmas lights. And then the living room also controls the living room lights and the basement controls the basement lights - though I could control multiple rooms with just one as well.
