This Philips portable cd player is excellent for on the go, because it has an anti skip feature which works great. The sound quality of this unit is awesome. As with any portable cd player, it seems to go through batteries quickly (especially if you compare it to an mp3 player). I would recommend purchasing an AA battery charger, so you can charge and recharge batteries (instead of buying them in the store). The purchase price on this portable was excellent, I bought it for $14.99. I would recommend this item to anyone.
