A: Small like a dvd remote control , 1 3/4 in width 4 3/4 inches in height. It runs on a rechargeble battery thats within the voice recorder. I record in class for about 2 hours straight and battery hardly goes down you can't even notice its gone down. I think you can easily get 10 hours of use without charging.
