Q: What kind of amp will best pair with this sub?
A: I purchased the Pioneer - 1600W Class D Digital Mono MOSFET Amplifier with Wired Bass Boost Remote, blew the 10” sub of this kind after 2 days - recommended by beat buy, and then the tech assumed no influence or responsibility for the purchase of the amp or the fact the sub was blown. Upgraded to the 12” because it runs at 400W peak rms, amp runs at 500 and was closer (10” @ 300W peak rms). Been running this for a few weeks and it sounds great and hasn’t had a problem, yet.
