Q: Is it necessary to have an amp or will the 200 watt deck still provide enough to get it working?
A: Muat have an amp to operate the sub correctly if not it can mess the speaker and the deck up because the deck is splitting the 200 watt to all the other speakers in the vehicle
Q: What is the amp that goes with this sub woofer?
A: There are many options for type of amp that can be used but I used a pioneer 5 channel 2000w amp. I also upgraded 4 door speakers with pioneer 6x8. System sounds fantastic! The 6x8 only require 75w max each. so the total wattage plus that of the sub was perfect for this amp. You will need to do the research. I bought the speakers from a different retailer. A: It should fit as long as it has enough space to lay behind seat. It’s designed to vent bass through openings on sides. As long as it can lay and has room you’re fine.
