PNY - Compact Attache 64GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive - Blue

I love my pny 64GB flash drive. i can store so much more data which saves me alot of time from moving data around.

i needed a flash drive to load a large power point presentation. this flash drive was exactly what i needed.

Everything is fine with this unit except for the black part that slides back to fully expose the USB connector. When plugging the device in, it seems I've always got that part in between my thumb and finger while attempting to plug the device in and it is difficult to plug it in because your thumb and finger are on the part that slides, so as you attempt to push this device in, you're merely sliding that black cover and not actually pushing the drive into the USB port. This black part of the devise is large enough that you generally always grab this to insert the devise and that is generally what I feel is the problem with this particular design. This has gotten to be annoying because you always have to be aware of how you are holding it when you go to insert it into the port. Each device you plug it into will likely be different so you can't just remember to always have one of the side in the UP position so that you know it will plug right it, it is generally trial and error to see which way it goes to fit into the USB port and that is when that darn sliding piece gets in the way. It should be that when you slide it open, it clicks in place and don't slide anymore, if you ask me. The fix: be sure to be holding this device with your fingers and thumb on BOTH the white and black surfaces at the same time or only the white part to ensure you have no problems inserting, otherwise if you only hold the black part, which generally happens all the time with this design, then when you go to insert this device, you'll just be sliding the cover and not inserting the device. Gosh, did I tell you yet how irritating this is EVERY TIME!?

This flash drive has a huge memory enough to save all kinds files that a student need. Further, this drive is small in size and this make it portable. Amazingly, this drive works for both windows and Mac . Better still, this drive is not all that expensive-- if you don't have enough cash to buy it at BBY store, you can opt to use your BBY credit card. And make some reasonable monthly payments that do not make a huge dent on your budget! I definitely recommend this flash drive to all interested parties!! I use this flash drive on a Mac and PC. I generally put files on from the Mac to use on the PC, and it ultimately had no remaining capacity, even though I had deleted all I had put on before. In due course, I found on the PC that there was a trash folder on the drive, and that is where all the deleted files had gone. Once that was emptied on the PC, all was back to normal. The trash folder is invisible on the Mac. So, an excellent drive, once the trash folder was discovered.

I Love this very tiny 64GB PNY USB Flash drive. It was at a very reasonable price, considering it is a 64GB. It works well on Windows 7/8 And Mac OS. So far I have not experienced anything wrong with this particular USB. It holds Music, Pictures, Documents and much more. It is very lightweight and small, which is my main reason for purchasing it. I had a great experience with the seller, which is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend this brand (PNY) USB Flash drive to anyone looking for more space to save their personal data on.

PNY 64 gig.. I saw the 128 gigs next to this one but since there so new the price is still high. for two of these it's still cheaper than the 128. The only thing that scared me was they had pny 64 gigs flash drives right next to this one on the shelf that were another color but with a slightly different name for twice the price as the ones I bought.. I don't know why they were twice the price, I read both packages and saw no difference at all except for the name and color.. I hope that these weren't half price because theres something wrong with them like a design flaw.. I haven't had any problems with these so far.. I use them for storing movies on them. and with 64 gigs they can hold alot. so far so good ...

Since this extra memory comes at a reasonable price, the overall value is outstanding. Of course, in a world of contoured, cartoon character shaped and neon colored flash drives, this PNY is rather plain looking in black & white.
