A: As far as I know these PNY 2TB SSD do not have dram cache. For my computing needs they work fine for me as I am not into gaming. Their speed is fast and their performance is excellent for my computing needs.

Good for backups
I got this drive at a great price on sale. I put into an external housing with a fast USB interface. With it I get speeds of typically 400 MB/s, which are close to the maximum of 500 MB/s for this drive connected directly to the SATA inside a pc. I use it to do backups of the drives inside my tower. It is an economical means of performing this function.

All the games
I bought the 2tb so that I could install all of my games to an ssd. I have had this drive for quite a while and it has held up well. I basically have my whole steam library installed, it's great!
