Q: Can thee be used for an older iPad 3?
A: As long as you have the charge plug for your device just plug it in
Q: How do you get it to turn off. i purchase two and one keeps turning itself on and draining itself.
A: Return product and try another brand. Just discovered, I do have a problem with the power charger. Instead of 3 bars, their should be 4 bars (according PNY website).

A: It will give you close to a full charge depending on your usage

Q: How long can it charge a device for?
A: Usually it charges my devices (phone/headphones/apple watch/bluetooth speaker/etc) to full capacity 1-3 times, depending on whether or not i'm using it while it's charging. I would say if you are not using your phone very much while it is plugged into the battery, it would charge it to 100% at least 2.5-3 times and maybe as many as 4 or 5. If you're using it while you charge, it may only charge 1-2 times. Takes about 2 hours tops for a full charge
