A: the speakers plug directly into my receiver/tuner and receive their power solely from and directly from my receiver/tuner.
Q: Is this a set of 2 speakers or one only?
A: It is for one speaker. If it says (each) in the description, it is one speaker only. If it says (pair) in the description, it is for two speakers. Hope this helps.
Q: How does this differ from the TL3 satellite? Peak power handling is not listed for the TL3. Thanks
A: The TL2 has 90hz-24hz. RMS is 65 watts, max is 125. The TL3 has 90hz-31hz. RMS is 75 watts, max is 150. The TL3 is a little stronger and louder, but costs more and requires more wattage. I love my TL2's, but have never heard the TL3's. Hope this helps.
