Q: What exactly is done during installation. Treadmills from some companies do not require installation
A: Hi Chuck, all treadmills that I'm familiar with have some sort of assembly that is required. It's just not efficient to ship treadmills in a large box either domestically or imported. Basically you are bolting the uprights that hold the console on the base. Some are designed so the legs fold up and you bolt with like 8 bolts total and others are more extensive. I would suggest you visit www.iconservice.com and enter model PFTL15118 and search for the manual to see what is involved in the assembly process. You can also hire a professional installer by calling 800-445-2480.
Q: Do you have to have ifit in order to use it?
A: No you do not need ifit to use it. You just have less features in the computer, but if you like to use a treadmill and watch anything on your tablet Or listen to your own music, then you don’t really care about ifit
Q: Are you able to take away old treadmills when new one is delivered?
A: Yes they do. It costs about 50.00 extra. Also it can be two different trucks so it’s not always taken on the same day. The gentleman who installed my treadmill didn’t even know about it but they were awesome and sent another truck out in a few days.
Q: Does it come with tablet holder?
A: Yes it does. It mounts above the digital screen.
