A: This unit needs to cleaned often to prevent any buildup. Anytime you fill the unit with water you need to clean it to prevent buildup. I was disappointed with this unit and would not recommend. I previously had an Air Innovations humidifier and will be going back to that brand.
Q: can you put oils in the humidifier?
A: We do not recommend the use of any essential oils or additives as this will cause the unit to leak and void your warranty.
