I have the HP Chromebook. Chromebooks are google based so they don't have Microsoft programs, windows being one of them. They use the google platform for everything. If you need to work on excel type spreadsheets or word type documents, you can access these types of programs on your google drive. Or you can always use the Microsoft Office Online, the free cloud version of Office, that is available as a webpage in the Chrome browser. I use both. The cool thing with both is that them being cloud based..if you start working on a word file on the Microsoft office online, you can save it and open it up later...same with the google drive. I guess it all depends on your preference. Hope this helps and good luck!!
