I was told by the Microsoft rep at Best Buy that the drive is integrated on the Motherboard and can't be expanded or swapped out. This is similar to the technology that is in the Macbook.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 128 Gb SSD IS integrated into the motherboard. (As I found out yesterday when I was trying to swap it out for a 500 Gb SSD.) It has been VERY difficult to find any accurate information on this computer. The last manual I got showed the SSD as being under the battery. I finally found it; under the motherboard, in the right rear corner, in front of the right speaker. There is room for a 2.5" drive in the right front corner. I am also looking for a SATA to HP ribbon cable.
