“I read above that the battery is not replaceable. Does that mean ever? Batteries stop holding their charge. Can it be replaced by the Geek Squad or IT repair professional.”

• It absolutely is easily replaced. It's a drop in battery. You should be able to get the spare from HP, and get an it guy to install it.
