I use a spray bottle of peroxide for it's antibacterial properties and i scrub with a bottle brush to reach between the freeze prongs. Works well. Finally i spray it out with scalding hot water to rinse anything left behind.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I fill a clean spray bottle with white vinegar. I spray the inside of the machine and let it set for about 15 minutes. I rinse the vinegar with water, filling the machine as I go, and then I drain the vinegar water by unplugging the drain at the bottom of the machine. I repeat the rinse 2 more times. Finally, I completely dry the machine with a microfiber cloth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I unplug machine, take out tray, drain water if there’s any in there. Then add equal parts vinager and water plug back in then depress the on button for 5 seconds and it runs a self clean cycle. Once done I unplug unit again, drain, then scrub everything down with a rag and tooth brush then rinse down. Then I wash and replace the tray, fill with water and run machine for about an hour then toss ice, drain machine and fill again ready to use.
