- Answer Spectrum TV does work with this TV. You have to load and use the Spectrum app. (Spectrum used to be called "Charter" before they bought Time Warner).

- Answer I just now delved into settings and easily found “subtitles and captioning.” I use antenna tv and so I will not be able to answer about cable access. I’m very happy with this tv and want another for a different room
