QuestionIs Roku-3 compatible with this switch? Is there a download available?MY Roku-3 will not play through the RF-G1185 switch. I hooked up as instructed. Is it compatible with the switch? Is there a download avaible for it though your website?

- Answer I have the Roku stick and it works flawless with this switcher,yours should work fine.Get a new one and see what happens,you might have gotten a bad one,and did you try another port

QuestionScreen keeps showing the video input menuI'm using this device with a view sonic tv to expand the number of HDMI inputs. It works fine however it keeps flashing the input selector menu on the monitor. Any suggestions?

- Answer Rocketfish...it's obviously the TV menu popping up, but why is your unit triggering that? After all, it didn't start until he installed your box. If you want folks to use your product, you need to be providing the solutions to the issues it causes. Not passing your problems on to another manufacturer.

QuestionTV with only 1 HDMI portI have TV that has 3 HDMI port but only 1 is available because there is only 1 HDMI cable is hidden behind the wall and I want to use this wall system. I want to connect my TV to 3 devices - cable, xbox and apple TV. Is this HDMI switch the one I need?

- Answer That was my exact problem and the Rocketfish solved it easily.... It definitely beat the cost of fishing additional cables through the wall and above the fireplace...drywall repair and painting!

QuestionStatic and flicker on PS3 and PS4I'm using this so I can have both my PS3 and PS4 hooked up to my TV, but I get white static on the screen and the screen tends to flicker, what could be causing this? Im pretty sure tha the HDMI cords are high speed and are plugged in correctly

- Answer You may want to try one device at a time to identify which is causing the issues. Then work your way forward to get a solution. Both systems send power queues over the hdmi cable and that can cause issues sometime.

QuestionWill the selector work in reverse?Will this device work in reverse? I am looking to have a single device (my computer) display on one of 2 different TVs. Can I hook the computers output to the "output" on the HDMI selector and have my 2 TVs plugged into ports 1+2 and select which HDMI output is active?

- Answer No, this device will not work in reverse. This unit features multiple input ports, but only one output, so it's not what you're needing. It sounds as if you need a splitter device, and I'd be willing to bet that the Best Buy folks will be able to find you one without any hassle.

QuestionConnecting my HMDI video through Rocketfish swicther changes the aspect ratio.Connected my xbox 360 output and my Samsung blu ray dvd separately through the switcher and the output is pillarboxed. Can this be fixed?

- Answer Is the output of both devices pillar boxed? I am using this with a Panny Blu-Ray player and a Roku box. I have had no issues with this at all. The HDMI switcher seems to be totally transparent.

- Answer Not a professional. That will not work. You need to hook up you Receiver directly to your TV. Then you need to connect the switcher to your TV. Then the Satelitte Receiver to your Switcher, along with all of your other devices

- Answer I'm not sure if this is your question but I also wondered if I was doing something wrong. Then I pushed the button on the top. It changed selections 1-2-3-4. I thought it was just an on/ off button.

QuestionAttempting to connect 2 Samsung products + Dish satellite box ** help**I am currently attempting to connect the following to my new 60" Samsung tv and can't figure out the problem. I have the HDMI connected between the output on the Selector and the tv with the satellite connected & working. Dish satellite + Samsung DVD player + Samsung Sound Bar through the Selector and to the tv. I can't figure out how to get the Sound Bar to work?

- Answer The soundbar is a terminal device, which means that it need to be receiving input from all the other devices that produce the audio, such as your satellite receiver and DVD player. You need to either connect the TV to the soundbar via the digital optical cable, or have the output of the HDMI port selector connected to the input of the soundbar and then the output from the soundbar to the input of the TV. Alternatively, if both your TV and soundbar, depending on models, support Samsung Sound Share, you can connect them wirelessly.

- Answer According to the HDMI spec, cable distances should not exceed 45' between devices. Don't count your switcher as a device in this case. For instance, if you are plugging your Blu-Ray player into the switcher and then plug the switcher into the TV, the TOTAL combined length of the two cables should not exceed 45 feet. - Answer this unit does not support the EDID of apple TV from what ive experenced. there is a unit you can buy to resolve this issue, its by Dr. HDMI called a EDID Emulator/Corrector. you would place it between the TV and the selector.

- Answer No, this device will allow you to select (choose among) several HDMI connected devices to a single TV. For example, if you have cable or satellite, a PS3 and and XBOX One, but your TV only supports two HDMI connections, this device will allow all three of the devices listed in this example to be connected to the TV and allow you to choose which one at a given time is displayed on the connected TV.

- Answer I have the same issue. I have to turn it off and then turn it on again to make it "wake up". However, I can do this with my Harmony remote.

QuestionWe have ours hooked into a Samsung Plasma (was top of the line in '03...yes...it still works great). So, the margins of the screen have widened. Is this bc of our TV? Doing it on every port. Interferes with gaming. If we upgrade our TV, will that stop?

QuestionI have 4-Port HDMI Switcher and using with Amazon Firestick and DirecTv. Unfortunately the switcher automatically switches back to one and will not stay when manually selected using the remote or the button on switcher. All ports tried.

- Answer I plugged my HDMI switcher into HDMI 2 of the TV and plugged my DVD player and my Chrome Cast device (similar to FireStick) into the switcher. When I get ready to cast a show or movie I choose the source (mine is HDMI 2) for the TV and then cast. TV HDMI 2 Plugged into switcher Port 4 My Chrome Cast device is plugged into the switcher Port 3. DVD Player is plugged into switcher Port 2 Nothing plugged into Port 1 of the Switcher I assume you joined the Firestick to your wireless network.. Just asking. Don't know if this will help or not.
