• I don't think it is a matte screen, but have never had a major issue with glare on either of our Insignia TV's.

• I did not see any glare from this set. I guess it would matter if you were to try and watch it in a super bright room.

• This does not have a matte screen so there will be some glare depending on the lighting.

• I have noticed absolutely no glare when watching this TV.

• TV is in a bedroom that gets some direct sunlight. I have not had any problems with glare.
