“How sharp is the sound? Will this TV require a sound bar to make it loud enough to be heard clearly? Many of the latest flat screens don't deliver enough volume for me, though I'm not hard of hearing. Thnx.”

• The sound is very good. Our game room has a pool and ping pong table. The tv can be heard clearly above both.

• We think it gets loud enough. It's by no means theater like but we haven't had to raise the volume all the way up.

• For me personally? No. But then I am hard of hearing. The sound is of decent quality and may be adequate if you watch in a relatively quiet environment. Thats just not the case in my situation.
