QuestionManufacturer?Who is the actual manufacturer of this TV? I read somewhere it's LG. Is that true?

- Answer Actually Insignia is produced by a Chinese company using parts from mostly name brand manufacturers. For example you may have a Samsung circuit board and an LG panel, or it may be visa versa. The Tv has a good picture for the money, I saw one on display not too long ago.

QuestionHow well would this TV work when used as a computer monitor for viewing webinars?

- Answer This can not be used a standard computer monitor as it does not have that type of connection. If you are connecting to a machine that has HDMI, then it would work. I watch my standard DVD's via my laptop by HDMI and the image and sound is fantastic. The high refresh rate of 120hz would be a great fit as a monitor, but only if your are connecting via HDMI.

- Answer I assume you could as their are your typical white, yellow, red outputs on the back, assuming that is what most external speakers are. There is also an 'audio out' connection. The sound on the built in speakers is pretty good though so I have never purchased speakers.

- Answer Yes, you have three options. 1) there is a headphone out jack, 2) a toslink digital out and 3) one of the HDMI jack supports ARC.

- Answer There are a couple of different options. I use the 1/8 inch Stereo jack from the back of the TV so that ALL inputs from the TV feed the sound bar. Like: Game System, Blu-ray, Cable Box, Etc. I don't worry about "Digital vs Analog" because it is only a short distance, and my sound bar is front speakers only with wireless sub. If you were running a 5.1 or 7.1 sound bar with rear surround speakers, you Definitely want to use HDMI for 5.1 or 7.1 digital surround. My particular soundbar only allows to me to adjust EQ using the analog input. So I get better sound performance with the 1/8 inch jack from the rear of the TV directly to the bar.
