• The base is 181/2 inches wide and 7 3/4 inches deep.

• I have mine on a stand so it's fine. If you have an entertainment center I would make sure it's 52 inch corner to corner.

• I'll add to this as soon as I can get home and measure it. I was worried about the same issue because I used my sofa table. It can't be more than 18" deep and I've got extra room. The design of the base gives it great balance and doesn't take up much room at all.
