• This TV does have a setting in the picture menu called Game Mode. This is recommended for any gaming you do and adjusts the picture settings for the ideal gaming picture.

• I have been playing games in HDR with the local dimming set to high and honestly I haven't noticed anything weird or anything that takes away from the experience. I would just suggest using the local dimming and if you don't like it just turn it off.
