“The shelf at the very top where a sound bar can go, can I remove those 2 shelf spacers? I would like to get this, but my sound bar has a 16" depth. And I see that the shelving has a 20" depth, until I saw those spacers on the very top shelf. Removable?”

Yes, those spacers could be left out during assembly, however it would possibly compromise the structural integrity of the top that supports the weight of you tv. If your TV isn't very heavy I don't see it being an issue. This cabinet is built very sturdy. I shopped around a lot before deciding to purchase this one. It's built way better and priced better as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No it is not removable, and it is only recessed about 7 1/2 inches. This stand is really poor quality anyway. It bowed in just 2 months and now has a noticeable sag. Not worth the money.
