“I bought the acer-15.6" at best buy was told would get good wifi if linked to andriod tablet, it does not connect anywhere but this area, I was told need windows can I download windows on this device or trade it in ? thanks, Joe S.”

If you need windows you will have to load a new OS to the hard drive (might need an external hard drive) google is a great resource to find out how to load a new os on the chrome book
