- Answer There is an Acer Chromebook 14, very similar but: Smaller No touchscreen Speakers on underside of keyboard, not as loud Smaller display Uses different cpu Display not as bright I do not think it takes SD card. There are several of these with different chips by Acer. That being said, if you do not like the touchscreen, just pretend its not there. Mouse and keyboard works fine. Otherwise has very similar functionality, and is cheaper.

- Answer You won't be able to install drivers or software onto a Chromebook unless it is in the form of an app from Google Playstore or Android apps. - Answer Yes. Chromebooks are designed to be used primarily when connected to the internet and use apps like Android tablets and phones. You cannot install software on a Chromebook but apps from Android Apps or Google Playstore will work on these devices.

- Answer Its not exactly an "antivirus"... its more like it is engineered so as not to be subject to computer viruses. It is not a Windows or Mac OS. I understand it is a partial subset of linux, modified by Google... and it does have built in virus protection. Also, the chromebook OS updates frequently, and automatically, so virus writers would have to run quickly to keep up with the updates... and if something should happen, it has a built in "power wash" option that resets everything back to factory settings.

- Answer It has 2 USB -C ports. I got a USB C adapter with VGA adapter and one for HDMI. Works perfectly. Nice Chormebook!!!

- Answer I do not own this laptop but am considering purchasing it so have done a lot of research on it. On many sites under customer reviews many have commented on the Keyboard being backlit and being nice to use in darkened conditions because of the backlit keyboard.Hope this helps!
