“Opening the lid I just received this Acer computer, plugged it in & connected it. But how do you open the lid???? I see 2 latches on each side in the front, but they don't budge. I checked to remove all the packaging tape. Can someone tell me what I have missed? Thanks”

I know where I missed it. My brain is not working! The lid is open & all is well. Thank you for not answering such a stupid question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have the notebook facing you where you can see the lights on the front, then try to open it. The latches you are referring to might be the hinges for the screen itself.
