Make sure the playback device is set to speakers under the Sound properties. When you plug in headphones, Windows sees them and you can then hear sound from the headphones. When you unplug the headphones it should default to sound coming from the speakers. Make sure the speaker settings are not muted. If there is still no sound from the speakers, we suggest the system be serviced to check the speakers.
