A:Answer Recently purchased this item May 2023 and would purchase again. I have the bottom of mine set 3" above the platform it is sitting on, which is a docking station for a laptop. It is adjustable and you can move it from approximately 1.5" bottom of screen off platform up to 6" bottom of screen off platform. It adjusts simply by pushing up and down with no button or anything to push, which at first was not known and was just a little bit confusing, however a pleasant surprise as to how easily it adjusted and stayed put. It as well will tilt forwards and back which again was a pleasant surprise. Well designed in my opinion.
