BIOS will not detect a Samsun 970 m.2 2280 NVME drive. The BIOS is very limited, and appears to only accept SATA III m.2 drives. There may be a work around, but I have yet to discover it. Acer, please clarify some of the compatibilities. We're getting mixed information.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cannot find the M.2 drive so more than the SATA drive cover and RAM cover will have to be removed to access it. I'm not sure about NVMe support, I will explore that later. FFS256G39TND-N210A is the drive inside. Its scores are not bad (see attached). But the write peak scores are a bit low.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The M.2 slot on this model supports SATA 3 or PCI-e Gen3 x4 SSD's. The memory speed supported is DDR4 2666 SO-DIMM and DDR4 2400 SO-DIMM. What ships on the system will depend on availability at the time of manufacture.
