- Answer I have never played minecraft on this laptop but I can assume that it will definitely be able to. I play Apex and Call of Duty Warzone with no problems and they play at 1080p at the highest video settings. I get no lag but you are limited to a max of about 65 FPS and an average of about 55 fps. I easily upgraded the RAM from its stock 8 to 16gb. It has two SODIMM slots. As far as other mods go you may be limited to what you can do because it's a laptop. When I had this thing open to install my RAM cards everything is else is pretty tight and hidden it would be a pain to access anything.

- Answer This Nitro 5 supports up to 32GB using two memory sticks, and you can change out the 128GB SSD to a higher capacity- Acer has tested up to 512GB.

QuestionMy daughter enjoys playing the sims with all the extras she currently plays it in my desk and it’s starting to make her game slow so I am looking into getting her a gaming laptop would this run the game with all the extra packs?

QuestionBought this laptop cause of the 1 TB hard drive, however when I started it up & checked the storage space, it only showed 119 GB of storage. Checked order, model, & SKU # & everything matches. So am I missing something or was I given the wrong laptop?

- Answer This Nitro 5 ships with a 256GB SSD, and a 1TB SATA hdd. You were likely looking at the remaining 119GB space from the SSD which has the operating system on it. If you feel there is a problem with your Nitro laptop please feel free to contact support at 866-695-2237.

- Answer This laptop supports 3rd WiFi 2x2 AC. There is nothing in our documentation that shows this supports 5G.

QuestionI've had this laptop for a while now and can't figure out how to change the length that the keyboard light stays on for. I don't see anything in settings relating to it when I search for "keyboard" or "backlight". Help?

- Answer If you open the Acer nitro sense software you will see a cog icon in the top right corner next to the X button. Click the cog and you will see a drop down menu. In one of those menus you will see an option to enable or disable to keyboard backlight turning off after 30seconds. Hope this helps

- Answer The 128GB SSD spec is saying this laptop ships with the drive, not that the max capacity is 128GB. Acer has tested up to 512GB for the SSD.

- Answer It comes with one AC Adapter with usual 3 prong cord. I always order one more every laptop I buy which I did directly from ACER STORE. I would refer you to their Store page for spare parts like a AC Adapter or Battery as they are excellent. Anyway, my spare I bought from the ACER STORE was a 135W Adapter kit with Power Cord (Purple Connector) SKU: AK.135AP.020 which was $40, plus tax, plus $10 shipping (it was under $55 for me)
