“All new swift 1, 3, 5 and 7 that I have looked over have model numbers that begin with SFxxxxxx. Curious to know why does this refurbished model number start with NX while another swift 3 refurbished on this site has the standard SFxxxxx?”

The NX number is the Acer part number for the computer. The SFxxxxxx is the system model name. Here is a link to Acer's site with this model info: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.GNUAA.001
