“Is it possible to place a switch on the end of the line? The modem is in one side of house but the connection is in on the other side of the house. There are a few devices in the end (TV, ps4, roku). Can this device handle this type of setup?”

You can use a 4 or 8 port switch. If you have devices that have Gigabit ports then be sure to use a Gigabit switch. Plug it in and you will be good to go.

Please try again later.yes though do remember that if you run all the devices at the same time on the switch they will be competing for the bandwidth i get around 900mbits on my local network through it a little less than a cat 5e line at 1gbit. But yeah it will definitely handle it make sure the switch is at least 10/100/1000 for best effect and that its internal bandwidth is good too.
