- Answer The Blink cameras need to be within 100ft of the sync module in any direction to operate, as far as how far away the system can be from your wireless router would depend on the strength of your internet/wifi, we recommend at least three bars of signal strength.

- Answer The Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions.

- Answer Not sure what you mean by linked. But you install the Blink app on your phone and then all the configuration and monitoring is via the app on the phone. However you can install on ipads also.

QuestionTo record, does a light come on? I have the indoor units that a light turns on that alerts an individual that they are being observed/filmed.

- Answer I selected the light off function. Bad guys don't need to be alerted if they don't see the cameras.

Questioncan I set this system up run on a schedule like from 7pm - 5am. I need to only monitor my father through the night. And can turn the camera off on the back of the device when I want to suspend recording for privacy and turn it back on?

- Answer Yes, via your smart phone. When you set up each camera you are able to "arm" it and "disarm" any time you wish. There is NO auto timer as far as I know.

- Answer batteries last quite a while if you set the clip length for 5 to 6 seconds.. but I have used mini USB cable to direct wire so I can set clips for 20 or 30 seconds.. batteries go fast if u set it higher then 5 or 8 seconds, and if its in a very active zone where it goes off all the time,
