“In order to see your minutes and time left on the myflip, I understand you have to input your tel# into under the browser icon. I am having trouble putting my phone number in. What am I doing wrong? Otherwise, the phone works OK.”

I don't know about the method you mentioned, but from the standard screen (beach scene) press OK, then use the navigation ring around the OK button and navigate to the browser icon (globe). Press OK to select the browser and after a few seconds you'll see the remaining minutes, text messages and megabytes left.
