My husband doesn't use the internet nor does he call very often. He buys a basic card every 90 days ($19.99 for 60 minutes and 90 days). It has instructions about how to have the minutes/days added to the phone We bought this phone and a basic phone card from Best Buy a few weeks ago to replace his old TracFone. We called and a representative helped us transfer his minutes, days and his old phone number. Since he was able to transfer the days from his old phone, he won't need to buy a new basic card until March, 2019.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Tracfone is the best answer for this. I buy a One year card and the minutes I get as part of that card, are enough to last for the year. The service is good for one year. I have cell phone coverage whenever I turn on the phone. If for some reason you use all the minutes, additional minute cards can be reloaded, during the year. I have done this sometimes in years past when I’ve used a lot of minutes due to traveling.

You still have the option what type of service plan you would like to add on your phone and when to purchase it. However, you will have to purchase and add a service plan before your service days expire to keep your phone active. Thank you.
