Yes, it should still work. But, it will only work as a 4G phone, not 5G. The 5G network operates on different frequencies than the 4G network does. So yes, you will have service, but it just won't have the 5G speeds. For that, you're probably going to have to buy a phone that specifically designed to operate with the new 5G network. It's like when 4G first came out and most everyone was using 3G phones. The 4G was there, if you had a phone designed to work with those frequencies. Otherwise your were limited to 3G speeds. But, when you bought a 4G phone, it would work with both 4G & 3G frequencies. I hope that this helps you out. For 5G operations, it looks like we're all going to have to buy new phones.
