- Answer Yes! You can! When you purchase this phone, they include a tiny key so you can pull out the Sim card tray on the side. You have to call your phone service and tell them you'd like to transfer your sim and phone number to a new device! They are usually very friendly and helpful, and it is relatively easy. Hope this helps!

- Answer if you buy the tracfone version then you need to buy a tracfone card. many of the tracfone cards do calling, texting, and data usage. there is an option for data or text only cards these will not give you calling minutes.

- Answer any phone will work if it has 4g capabilities. most smartphones made after 2016 have this ability. there are a few versions that dont however those are far and few between

- Answer I would suggest calling your carrier. I had no problems having mine activated which the SIM card uses Verizon services and I have safelink wireless so tracfone manually programmed it for me. You shouldn't experience these problems unless maybe you live in an area with a poor signal. I worked for a phone company before so it does sound a lot like programming good luck.

- Answer I only use my phone for calls, so a $30 card gives 120 mins, which last me 3-4 months. I can’t advise on mobile video apps etc

- Answer I bought screen temper glass and also some nice heavy duty cases from eBay specific for this model phone fit perfect. And didn't cost a lot. Not sure what type of cover you are referring to but just type Alcatel tcl phone case and it will pull up a ton.

- Answer My guess would be yes bu you would have to check with the provider if they require one of their SIM cards. Almost any phone with a removable SIM card can be brought to another carrier. i would consider the upgrade to the Samsung Orbit J3 as it is a better phone. This is a low level smart phone
