Since this is a 1070 card (as opposed to a 1080), I wouldn't go 4k on the monitor, but I must say a 2k monitor (2560 x 1440) looks really good and this card is fast! It (as expected) puts out some heat, but the fans keep it a good temperature range. I have mine in a slot under my desk, so I had to turn on an external fan to keep cool air flowing in. I love this computer!
