No. If the frame is off the photo will still send from the sender's phone app, but that photo will not arrive until the frame is turned on. However, the photos sent from the app will only stay on the server for 24 hours or so, so they may have to re-send if the frame has been off for too long. You can set an auto on and off time on the frame so that it runs during certain hours.
