- Answer If you are using the RCA connection, please make sure that you connect them to the input ports on the TV.

- Answer We attached it to a 4K digital monitor. We haven’t connected it to s storage device so I don’t know about it’s playback status.

QuestionWill this device allow one to watch HDTV sent signals on a tv from my cable provider. Currently some channels are not viewable and they want to rent a $7 per month hdtv receiver. If not what products do you have to accomplish receiving the hdtv signal.

- Answer It depends on the source of your coaxial cable and how you want to use this box. If the coaxial is for a HDTV antenna, then you can use this box to receive OTA signals. But if the coaxial connector is from your cable TV provider, then you can't.

QuestionAluratek ADTB01F failures. Just bought three and one keeps quitting (5 minutes after power up) to several days. All three need power off once a week to be rebooted after lock ups. Not impressed.

- Answer Once you connect a HDTV antenna to this box, you can scan for available OTV (over the air) channels available in your area. You might need to adjust the position of the antenna to optimize reception.

- Answer Yes, you can use this box to connect to your TV using the RCA ports. The box will be the tuner with the HD antenna that you connected for OTA channels.

- Answer For recording OTA programs via the box, you will just need to insert a USB drive to the box and it can record that directly. You don't need another recorder to do that.

QuestionHELP!! I can't record one show and play another. Book says "ON/OFF the loop through" in "the Setup Menu," but THERE IS NO SETUP MENU, nor nothing of the sort in the (only) "menu." Apparently it hasn't scanned the 2nd tuner, but HOW TO GET IT TO DO SO?

- Answer No, this unit is only designed to receive digital video signals and doesn't recognize the NES' analog RF output. I tried this myself. Honestly, unless you have a "top-loader" model, why not just buy some cheap RCA cables to use with the system? Video quality will be drastically better, anyway.

- Answer It will need to go thru the converter box. The RF output is just a pass-thru, It is not for the OTA program output.
