QuestionIn the video on Amana.com for reversing the door, he puts the piece of thick cardboard back between the inner and outer door, but when the delivery people reversed my door, he threw it away. Do I need the board? What is it's purpose?

- Answer Remove the packaging friend, like 99.99% of people do. I’m guessing you’d need 36” doorway minimum IF you don’t remove packaging…but you’ll remove it downstairs—correct? So what’s the difference? Good luck.

QuestionThe spec sheet says the door has reversible side hinges. Is this so? I need the door handle to be on the right side, so that it swings out from right to left.

- Answer Yes, the door is reversible and it’s pretty simple/easy to do yourself. I believe the installers will do it for a fee as well.
